You can quickly import an assessment into Axio360 using Axio's pre-formatted Excel template. This allows for offline editing and fast bulk updates. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth import process.
1. Start a New Assessment

Log in to Axio360 and go to the Add Assessment section.

Choose "Create New Assessment from Import."
2. Select the Assessment Model

Choose the model that matches the assessment you're importing (e.g., NIST CSF, C2M2, etc.).

Name your Assessment
3. Upload the Excel File

In the "Upload assessment answers from excel" section, select your completed Excel template.

The file name will appear once selected.
4. Confirm and Import

Review that:

The correct model is selected.

Your Excel file follows Axio’s required format.

Click “Save & Next” to begin the upload.
How to Fill Out the Excel Template for Import
The Excel template contains multiple sheets. The most important is the Responses sheet.

Column | Description |

Practice FQN | Must exactly match the unique identifier for the question/control in your chosen Axio360 model. Incorrect or unmatched FQNs will cause the import to skip or fail. |
Current Level | Your current maturity level or implementation score for that item. |
Target Level | (Optional) Your desired maturity level. |
Target Date | (Optional) Date by which you aim to reach the target level. |
Inherited Assessment ID | (Optional) Use if you are linking answers from another assessment. |
Dimension | (Optional) A category or domain label, depending on the framework. |
💡 Tip: To obtain correct Practice FQNs, export a previously completed assessment or request a framework-specific template from your Axio representative.
